My Journey to Wellness
I have been told my enthusiasm for wellness is contagious, as I am an advocate for making wellness approachable for everyone.
After engaging with the categorical imperative by Kant, as a Philosophy major at Bryn Mawr College, I realized my interest in mind-body connections. To further my understanding of the body, I received my M.A. from Teachers College of Columbia University, in the Department of Biobehavioral Sciences, Program in Movement Science, Specialization in Applied Exercise Physiology. I've been dancing since I was 3 years old and love learning about new forms of movement! I'm an instructor of Zumba, Pilates, Barre, and Tabata, a certified Personal Trainer through ACSM and Exercise is Medicine credential level I. I became a certified Wellness Coach through the Mayo Clinic. I am a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach. I am a Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher. I trained with Wanderlust Hollywood and KRI (220 HR Yoga Alliance). I became a mother to a delightful baby boy in October 2019 and now can offer perspectives on prenatal and postpartum care.

8+ cities in 8 years.
I have lived in many places for education and work.
I grew up in Raleigh, NC and studied abroad in Lyon, France and Vienna, Austria.
I moved to Philadelphia for college with study abroad in Pisa and Milan, Italy.
While living in NYC for grad school I met my husband.
We’ve lived in Manhattan NYC, New Haven, Philly, and Dallas before relocating to California,
living in Venice, Malibu, Mission Viejo, Dana Point and our (final!) home in San Juan Capistrano.
(And that doesn’t even include our extended stays in Koh Samui or Beverly Hills!)
Achieving and maintaining wellness during a move, transition or period of change can be stressful and a challenge.
I have been there, done that, and after multiple attempts I think I have figured out how to embrace change.
